Shipping and Customs Policy

This Shipping & Customs Policy explains shipping- and customs-related responsibilities and shall be read together with the Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

1.      Prices, delivery and Import Charges

All prices displayed on the Website exclude

  • delivery costs, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout
  • import duties
  • customs charges;
  • VAT, GST, sales tax, or any other taxes imposed by the country of destination.

Such charges are determined by local authorities in the destination country and are

outside the Seller’s control.

2. Importer of Record

For all international shipments:

  • the Customer acts as the Importer of Record in the destination country;
  • the Customer is solely responsible for complying with all applicable import laws, regulations, and requirements;
  • the Customer bears full responsibility for payment of all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.

The Seller does not act as a customs broker, tax agent, or importer and does not collect, administer, or remit import taxes or duties on behalf of the Customer.

3. Failure to Pay Import Duties and Taxes

If the Customer fails or refuses to pay applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges,

such failure shall be deemed a refusal to accept delivery.

In such cases, the shipment may be abandoned, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of by

customs authorities or the carrier in accordance with applicable laws and procedures,

without any compensation or refund to the Customer.

4. Refunds and Returns Related to Customs

Refunds and returns are not available for orders that cannot be delivered due to:

  • non-payment of import duties, taxes, or customs charges;
  • failure to comply with import or customs requirements of the destination country.

Any costs arising from such failure, including return shipping, storage, customs handling, or disposal fees, shall not be borne by the Seller.

5. Delivery Terms and Delays

All international shipments are made on a DAP (Delivered At Place) / DDU (Delivered Duties

Unpaid) basis.

Delays, non-delivery, additional charges, or other issues arising from customs clearance,

courier operations, import regulations, or the Customer’s failure to provide required

documentation or payments are outside the Seller’s reasonable control.

6. Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon dispatch of the goods to the carrier,

as further described in the Terms & Conditions.

7. Customer Responsibility

Customers are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with applicable import regulations, duties, and taxes in their country prior to placing an order.
