Bearings for cars for Ford
A bearing is an assembly unit that serves as a support for an axle or shaft and provides it with a certain rotational movement with the least resistance while simultaneously limiting its other movements. Sliding and rolling bearings are used in the automotive and motorcycle industries. The latter can be divided into 2 groups according to the type of their technical design: roller and ball. Unlike plain bearings, rolling bearings have rolling elements (balls or rollers) that are lubricated. To fulfill this condition and to protect the moving parts of the bearing from dust and water, it is closed with covers on both sides. Like other replacement parts, bearings have unique manufacturer part numbers. Most bearings comply with generally accepted standards. More
