IVECO

The predecessor of the Italian IVECO was the German company Magirus, whose history dates back to the mid-19th century. Now this concern, headquartered in Turin, is a part of the CNH Industrial corporation. Half a century ago, IVECO got its name - an acronym for the words Industrial Vehicles Corporation. The company markets its trucks under the slogan Trucks Drive the Road of Change and leads its competitors in bringing technical innovation to production truck models. IVECO is the only one in the European Big Seven that has chosen liquefied gas as a fuel rather than electric traction as the main direction of development in the future. Gas engines from this manufacturer have been being used for decades and are considered a reliable alternative to a diesel engine. Biomethane is the most environmentally friendly fuel of all that can be used in an internal combustion engine. IVECO vehicles are five-time winners of the International Truck of the Year competition.
