The history of the Peugeot family's manufactory began in the 18th century. The French manufacturer has gone through the centuries, at different times producing coffee grinders, umbrellas, saws, and bicycles. The first car with a steam boiler was created at the end of the 19th century. Now the brand is part of the PSA Peugeot Citroen concern, which is owned by the Stellantis corporation. The headquarters are located in Paris. The company's slogan is “Motion & Emotion." The emblem depicts an attacking lion. This logo has been used since the middle of the 19th century and has become worldwide famous. Peugeot pays attention to motorsport; in different years, the company's cars participated in rallies and touring and took first and second places in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2009. In the production of electric cars, Peugeot was at the forefront in the late 90s of the last century, and today it is the second-largest manufacturer in Europe.
