The French company, named after the surname of the founder, like many of its competitors from the European Big Seven truck makers, was founded more than a century ago. A quarter of a century ago, it became part of the Volvo Group. With the slogan Sustainability Development, the company is moving into the future. A segment of decarbonised vehicles is called E-Tech and represents model lines of light, medium, heavy trucks for any transportation. The rhombus logo symbolizes a diamond, which is always valuable to its owner. The most successful Magnum tractor unit model was produced for more than two decades, had many innovations and became legendary. This producer's commercial vehicle has won the International Truck of the Year competition three times in different years. In addition to civilian cars, Renault produces military equipment - trucks and armored personnel carriers. The corporate headquarters is located in Lyon.
