Exhaust parts for Mazda
The engine exhaust tract serves to remove exhaust gases from the engine and reduce noise and toxicity. The main elements of the engine exhaust tract are the manifold, resonator and muffler. Parts of the exhaust system are attached to the car body using brackets and cushions. Thermal screens are used to protect the body from exposure to high temperatures. To reduce the vibration load on the exhaust pipes, corrugated connections can be used. The hermetic connection of these parts is ensured by special fireproof gaskets and clamps. Additionally, oxygen sensors (lambda) and catalytic converters can be mounted in the exhaust system. Diesel engines may have a particulate filter and an AdBlue reagent injection nozzle in the exhaust tract to reduce the nitrogen oxide content in the exhaust. More
