Wheel components for Bmw
This section contains hubs, CV joints, drive shafts, wheel rims, bolts, and nuts. Depending on the brand, model, purpose, and configuration, wheel hub units may vary in configuration. They can be equipped with bearings, ABS signal rings, hub nuts and caps, wheel studs, and tubes with grease, but they can be supplied by the manufacturer without all of the above. The CV joint (constant velocity joint) is, in most cases, equipped with a boot, clamps, retaining rings, and lubricant. The CV joint can be right or left, external or internal, front or rear. Wheel rims of passenger cars are stamped from steel, cast, or forged from alloys of non-ferrous light metals, among which aluminum, magnesium, and, less commonly, titanium predominate. A car disk weighs from 4 to 20 kg. Truck wheels are forged from steel; one disc weighs from 40 to 50 kg. More
